Half-Masked

Another character I wouldn’t mind seeing in a new Nolan Batman movie.

I wouldn’t mind a black Harley Quinn, actually. For an example of what I was thinking, the latest Subnormality has a great character design that I think would fit a Nolan-esque version of her. Although the white-makeup could be seen as a reverse-Blackface, it would also be just the right amount of unsettling and desperate. This is, after all, a character who would do anything for The Joker, and that could be a way of always being “connected” to him.

For this design, I tried to encompass aspects from as many of the villains we’ve seen so far in the Nolan films. There’s a bit of Scarecrow, some Two-Face, and a lot of Joker in her design. There’s even a touch of Batman in there(in the cowl). She wouldn’t have a “Glasgow Smile” like the Joker does, but I still wanted her look to be that of someone who was inspired by him, so she just does a messy job with lipstick. As a “tribute” to him, of sorts.
